Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and executing robust account plans in key accounts across the full health economy to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and Execute Account Plans

Develop and execute account plans that meet sales targets and drive business growth. This will involve building strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, understanding their needs and preferences, and developing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Manage and Allocate Resources

Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure that key accounts are properly supported and that sales targets are met. This will involve working closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer service.

Establish and Maintain Customer Relationships

Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through a multichannel strategy. This will involve utilizing a range of communication channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings, to build trust and rapport with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

Drive Sales Growth

Drive sales growth through the development and execution of effective sales strategies. This will involve staying up-to-date with market trends and customer needs, and developing tailored solutions to meet their needs.

Proven Track Record

Proven track record of consistently high performance, preferably within the CV field. This will involve demonstrating a strong understanding of customer drivers and of the NHS, including commissioning pathways, funding streams, NHS organisations, and implementation of NICE guidance.

Strong Understanding of KAM Theory

Strong understanding of KAM theory and practical implementation. This will involve demonstrating a clear understanding of key account management principles and practices, and being able to apply them in a real-world setting.

Excellent Communication Skills

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. This will involve being able to articulate the value proposition of Bayer's products and services, and being able to build strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
