Join Our Team as a Lead Cost Consultant

About the Role

Are you an experienced professional in cost management seeking to contribute to transformative building projects? We are on the lookout for a Lead Cost Consultant to enhance our dynamic team. You will collaborate with a group of dedicated specialists who are passionate about innovation and delivering state-of-the-art solutions.

This position encompasses the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through design and procurement, all the way to site execution and commissioning. Our cost management team handles a wide array of projects across multiple sectors, including healthcare, education, commercial, and more.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive Cost Management services to our clients.
  • Oversee Cost Management projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Ensure projects are managed efficiently, meeting deadlines and client expectations.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and project team members.
  • Act as the primary contact for both new and existing clients.
  • Ensure your team members receive relevant and up-to-date training.
  • Deliver cost management results in line with established timelines and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates who are ready to push the boundaries of what is achievable:

  • Demonstrated experience in a consulting role providing a full range of Cost Management services.
  • Ability to advise clients and design teams on cost, value, and risk considerations.
  • Strong IT skills with proficiency in digital measurement and cost planning tools.
  • Familiarity with various project types and sectors, particularly in residential and commercial fields.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working closely with senior management on project delivery.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or Cost Management.
  • Professional qualification, ideally Chartered Status with RICS, CIOB, or a similar institution.
