We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Cost Manager to join our team at Gleeds. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing costs and budgets of construction projects, including new builds, renovations, and maintenance works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cost Management: Provide expert cost advice to clients and stakeholders, ensuring that costs are accurately estimated and managed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Project Delivery: Oversee the delivery of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cost managers and surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver high-quality services.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive growth and revenue for the business.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical advice and guidance on cost management and construction projects, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in cost management and construction project delivery, with a strong track record of success.
  • Qualifications: Chartered Building Surveyor (CBs) or equivalent qualification.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of cost managers and surveyors.
