Role Responsibilities
The successful candidate will engage in various aspects of the Cost and Project Management functions. You will play a vital role in business operations, managing your own projects with a degree of independence. Your responsibilities will encompass a full spectrum of commercial and contractor support, working on diverse projects throughout the North West. These projects may include small contractor extensions, large civil engineering works, high-value constructions, and specialized energy projects.
Primary Duties:
- Deliver comprehensive commercial assistance including Measurement, Estimating, Contract Review/Administration, and procurement.
- Oversee interim valuations, manage variations, conduct cost value reconciliations (CVRs), and finalize account settlements.
- Participate in project management tasks to ensure effective project execution.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and specialized service providers.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in Cost Consultancy.
- Experience in subcontracting, contracting, or PQS is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Exhibit professionalism, approachability, and strong teamwork skills.
- RICS accreditation or a commitment to achieve it.
- A genuine interest in continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Excellent client management, communication, and presentation abilities.
Candidate Profile
