Company Overview: Wood Digital Consulting (DC) is actively seeking an experienced Automation and Controls Discipline Manager to enhance our EMEA Systems Integration operations. This role is integral to our ongoing expansion strategy.

Role Overview: The Discipline Manager will oversee a team of Discipline Team Leads along with their respective teams, aiming to optimize the performance and productivity of the Automation and Controls division. The department is projected to comprise over 40 Engineers at various levels of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide functional management and foster the development of engineering resources within the discipline.
  • Ensure adherence to discipline practices and procedures, acting as a subject matter expert to promote engineering excellence throughout the organization.
  • Exemplify the company's values and behaviors, demonstrating a commitment to the highest standards of safety and ethical conduct while cultivating an inclusive workplace.
  • Adapt to a hybrid working model, with the expectation of mobility and travel for client engagements and in-person collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (ISCED Level 6) in a relevant engineering field, with a Master's degree (Level 7) preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • Chartership with a recognized professional body or a Professional Engineer License is advantageous.

  • Expertise in discipline engineering tools and methodologies.
