Position Overview
Davies Group is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This role is pivotal in supporting the Head of FP&A as we embark on various transformative initiatives. The successful candidate will take charge of the monthly financial performance analysis for the organization and will be responsible for preparing the finance section of the board presentation materials. We are looking for an individual with strong business insight and a proven track record in enhancing financial processes.
Primary Responsibilities
- Compile the monthly financial performance reporting document.
- Evaluate monthly actual performance against budget and previous year figures in collaboration with divisional finance teams.
- Manage the finance segment of the monthly board presentation.
- Review and enhance existing processes and procedures.
- Document essential processes.
- Assist the Head of FP&A with various investor inquiries.
Required Skills and Experience
- Qualified Accountant.
- Significant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Proficient in presenting and conveying financial information to senior management.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting and office software, particularly MS Office.
- Expertise in Excel is essential.
- Experience with Planful is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with specific in-office days.
