Job Title: Head of Learning & Apprenticeships

The Head of Learning & Apprenticeships will play a pivotal role in shaping our learning and development strategy, driving commercial growth, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance in our apprenticeship programs.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and apprenticeship strategy that aligns with growth objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of L&D professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
  • Drive the commercial growth of learning and apprenticeship offerings, identifying and pursuing new market opportunities
  • Ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance in our apprenticeship programs, adhering to regulatory requirements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies
  • Use data and insights to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes, driving continuous improvement
About You:
  • Strategic leader with a strong commercial focus
  • Deep understanding of Learning & Development
  • Proven track record in leading successful learning initiatives
  • Comfortable operating at a senior level
Requirements:
  • A strong academic background, with a relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Extensive experience in Learning & Development, with a focus on apprenticeships, ideally across both public and private sectors
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • A thorough understanding of the regulatory landscape related to apprenticeships and L&D
