Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Early Learning team at Richard Stewart Family Learning Centre. As Head of Centre, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to ensure the delivery of high-quality early years services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of early years practitioners to deliver high-quality services to children aged 2-5 years.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of early years services and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of early years services and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure the centre is a safe and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.

Requirements:

  • BA in Childhood Practice or equivalent (recognized for Managers Registration – SSSC)
  • Extensive experience in a managerial and leadership role in early years services
  • Strong knowledge of early years policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
