Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated professional to lead our Early Learning and Childcare services in North Lanarkshire. As the Head of Centre at Richard Stewart Family Learning Centre, you will be responsible for driving continuous professional development, ensuring staff have the skills and competencies to deliver high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of early years practitioners in working with children aged 2 to 5 years.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Manage and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and community groups.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and legislation.
Requirements:
- BA in Childhood Practice or equivalent (recognized for Managers Registration – SSSC).
- Considerable knowledge and experience in working in a managerial and leadership role.
- Extensive experience of leading early years practitioners.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
