About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Vehicle Checker and Fleet Administrator. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Vehicle Checks
    • Conduct daily inspections of all fleet vehicles, including rental vehicles, to ensure they are in good condition and meet company standards.
    • Record all checks and conditions via our vehicle check app.
  • Driver Support
    • Ensure all drivers have the correct uniform and that vehicles are clean and well-maintained.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Record all 21-day notices and 7-day notices into a shared Google Calendar with the Transport Team.
    • Review outstanding notices with the Depot Quality Manager or Depot Manager.
    • Conduct weekly checks on the HGV fleet and download information, accounting for any discrepancies.
    • Check fleet stock and report any defects to the Regional Transport Engineer.
  • Qualifications and Skills
    • Good planning and organizing skills.
    • Able to work systematically, methodically, and orderly following all depot instructions and procedures.
    • Able to work on your own initiative and without close supervision.
