Position Overview

The Patient Access department is seeking a motivated individual with outstanding communication and organizational abilities to become a vital member of our welcoming and supportive team of receptionists. Key Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to deliver exceptional reception services for patients visiting outpatient clinics. You will be responsible for accurately documenting patient attendance and coordinating follow-up appointments across various specialties, adhering to the Access Policy.

Additionally, you will provide essential back-office support and assist with a variety of administrative tasks within the Patient Access team.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration/Customer Care or equivalent experience.
  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications.

Experience

Essential:

  • Familiarity with healthcare administrative systems and processes.

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Experience interacting with the public.

Knowledge

Essential:

  • Proficient in computer systems and capable of utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of patient pathways.
