Job Title: Senior Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our team at Communicate SLT CIC. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with complex needs.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech and language therapy, with experience working with children with special educational needs. You will be responsible for assessing and developing individualized therapy plans, working closely with families and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

As a Senior Speech and Language Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of children, including those with autism, learning disabilities, and complex communication needs. You will be supported by our experienced team and will have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with complex needs
  • Assess and develop individualized therapy plans in consultation with families and other professionals
  • Work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new services and programs
  • Supervise and support junior staff members as needed
Person Specification

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist who possesses the following qualities:

  • Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs, including those with autism and complex communication needs
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
