Senior Speech and Language Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Speech and Language Therapist to join our dynamic team at Communicate SLT CIC. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities- Provide speech and language therapy services to children directly and through support to their families and the multi-disciplinary team.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Collaborate with other professionals, including teachers, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for children with complex needs.
- Develop and implement evidence-based interventions to improve communication skills and outcomes for children.
- Supervise and mentor junior speech and language therapists and speech and language therapy assistants to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Participate in clinical supervision, continuing professional development, and service improvement initiatives to maintain expertise and contribute to the growth of the organization.

Our experienced and dedicated team of professionals supports individuals aged 0-25 years directly and through others, using high-quality, evidence-based approaches to maximize impact where they live and learn.
Person Specification- Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) degree or masters.
- Registration with RCSLT and HCPC.
- Experience working with children who have complex needs, their families, and the multi-agency team.
- Desirable: 3 or more years of experience working as an SLT with children with special educational needs, experience working with children with autistic spectrum disorder, and experience using AAC, including signing and communication boards.
