Job Description

Job Title: Systems and Office Administrator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Systems and Office Administrator to join our team at Greater Manchester Police. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing IT and operational support for all computer systems specific to the Central Ticket Office (CTO).

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Support: Provide IT support for all computer systems specific to the CTO, ensuring all equipment and systems are maintained and in working order.
  • Operational Support: Resolve and manage day-to-day computer and IT issues within the CTO, liaising with internal IS Branch, external relevant agencies, and national bodies.
  • Information Compliance: Liaise with the Information Compliance Department as required to provide information to respond to Freedom Of Information (FOI) requests.
  • Operational Advice: Provide operational and technical advice to management in relation to statistics in road behavior.
  • Pentip Administration: Act as the GMP administrator for Pentip.

Requirements:

  • Essential Criteria: Applicants should provide evidence, limiting their responses to each individual criterion to no more than 150 words, for the essential and desirable criteria marked AF (application form) from the job description.
  • Desirable Criteria: Candidates who do not demonstrate on the application, criteria identified as essential and being assessed at application form (AF), may not be shortlisted.
