Role Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Business Development Coordinator to join our growing team. This role is crucial in identifying and generating new business prospects, directly influencing our expansion and success. You will collaborate closely with the sales team, organizing client meetings, nurturing relationships, and utilizing market insights to uncover potential leads.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients through targeted outreach, including both warm and cold communications.
  • Sales Support: Schedule meetings and seminars for the external sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Identify and assess new opportunities using various resources, including social media, industry networks, and professional gatherings.
  • CRM Oversight: Maintain precise records of all sales activities and client interactions within our CRM platform.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed monthly reports on business development efforts to guide sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Area Managers to meet geographic and sector-specific targets.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: A-Level or equivalent, or an NVQ with a focus on sales (preferred).
  • Sales Background: Demonstrated experience in a sales or business development role, emphasizing relationship management.
  • Cold Calling: Essential experience in lead generation through cold outreach.
  • CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM systems and the capability to manage and report data accurately.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with effective negotiation skills.
  • Problem-Solving: A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
