Our well-established client in Daventry is seeking to hire a permanent
Client Relations Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a friendly and welcoming first point of contact for all external communications.
• Accurately process sales orders in a timely manner, including sending confirmations with precise shipment dates.
• Handle credit card transactions through a virtual terminal.
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions and pertinent details within the company’s contact database (Microsoft Dynamics 365).
• Release orders for shipment to the warehouse efficiently and promptly.
• Communicate delivery date changes and updates to customers as necessary.
• Resolve customer issues while ensuring effective communication until resolution is achieved.
• Generate and follow up on quotations for customer needs, recording feedback and collaborating with management to remain competitive.
• Gradually develop technical product knowledge and applications.
• Where necessary, assist with the delivery and restocking of consignment cupboards at customer locations.
• Source requested items from existing vendors and beyond when required.
• Place purchase orders with suppliers for special requests and drop shipments.
• Process documentation for system-generated inventory purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records of vendor interactions and relevant details within the company ERP system (Microsoft Navision).
• Continuously develop technical product knowledge and applications.
• Be fully familiar with the works order system and office procedures.
• Assist team members with transactions in other departments as needed.
• Contribute to the overall development of the business.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a customer service role is essential.
• Must be reliable, organized, enthusiastic, and conscientious.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Willingness to learn and train on the technical aspects of our client's products.
