Accounting Specialist

The Accounting Specialist is a key member of the Finance function, reporting to the Business Partner.
She/he plays a crucial role in managing all financial accounts within the organization, ensuring accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable, and facilitating timely payments and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including ledgers, journals, invoices, receipts, and information related to supplies and inventory.
- Assist the accounting department in daily, monthly, and annual activities, including generating financial reports, developing budgets, preparing taxes, and resolving discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers to ensure accurate charges and timely payments.
- Collaborate with clients to discuss account statuses, charges, or discrepancies.
- Participate in ongoing education opportunities to stay updated on industry trends, financial legislation, and company policies.
Accounting Activities:
- Monitor and record incoming and outgoing payments to the organization.
- Identify and resolve accounting irregularities.
- Manage client accounts and payment schedules.
- Provide financial reports to senior-level managers in collaboration with the team.
- Review financial information and documents quarterly and annually.
