Position Overview:

As a Leasehold Consultant, you will provide specialized guidance and support to leaseholders, ensuring top-tier customer service and satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

- Address and mediate disputes with leaseholders, managing related compensation and write-offs, including handling complaints and information requests.

- Ensure timely responses to inquiries from leaseholders, solicitors, and other relevant agencies, maintaining high standards of customer care.

- Collaborate with the Finance Team to produce estimates, actuals, interim, and final accounts promptly.

- Work alongside colleagues and leaseholders to implement improvements based on feedback and contribute to the annual service enhancement plan.

- Identify service enhancement opportunities, focusing on minimizing administration fees through efficient practices.

- Manage complex inquiries from leaseholders that require specialized attention, including processing applications for discretionary and mandatory caps.

- Engage with leaseholders through planning and attending forums, inspections, and consultations, accommodating flexible meeting times.

- Oversee communications with leaseholders, crafting letters, newsletters, and other informational materials in collaboration with various teams.

- Accurately assess leaseholders' liabilities and calculate their share of charges to ensure prompt recovery of costs.

- Provide advice on payment options and refer vulnerable leaseholders to appropriate support services.

- Guide contract administrators to ensure compliance with consultation requirements and accurate costings.

- Assist the internal legal team with documentation for disputed cases and tribunal proceedings.

- Offer regular updates on progress and activities undertaken.

- Take initiative in your professional development and skill enhancement.

- Utilize mapping software to create or modify estate maps, ensuring accurate representation of communal areas.

- Lead efforts to amend lease records in accordance with lease extensions and rectifications, coordinating with solicitors and surveyors.

- Perform additional reasonable duties to support the service as directed by management.

Required Skills and Experience:

- Comprehensive understanding of policies and legislation related to Leaseholder Services.

- Experience advising on Section 20 requirements.

- Proficiency in calculating final account recharges within statutory timeframes.

Additional Notes:

This role offers a hybrid working model, requiring in-office attendance a few days a week.
