We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at IQVIA. As a Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping and directing the Intravenous Iron landscape in the South Wales and South West area.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide a high-quality commercial approach, maximising opportunities and investments using your successful negotiation skills. You will be involved in high-level clinical discussions around the product and its wealth of clinical data.
To succeed in this role, you will need to maintain a high degree of knowledge of the defined therapy areas and NHS policies (both local and national) by proactively reviewing their current positions and providing solutions where appropriate to ensure the use of our client's products.
We are looking for someone who can work autonomously and independently drive sales. Cardiovascular or nephrology experience is essential, and you must have contacts within either of the therapy areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a commercial strategy to maximise sales and revenue growth in the South Wales and South West area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
- Provide high-quality clinical and commercial support to customers, including presentations, training, and product demonstrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical and commercial developments in the Intravenous Iron market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive sales growth.
- Proven track record of sales representative/KAM experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Cardiovascular or nephrology experience is essential.
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent.
- ABPI qualification.
- High level of selling, commercial acumen, and negotiating skills.
- Ability to develop positive relationships with all business partners.
- Up-to-date knowledge of the product, disease area, and customer environment, including the NHS budgetary and planning processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
