Position Overview

Join our dynamic Installations Team at Selwood, where we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service on customer sites. This role requires a strong presence on-site, ensuring that all operations are executed smoothly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise all on-site personnel, including direct staff and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational standards.
  • Conduct thorough briefings on Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to guarantee that all team members understand their responsibilities and the safety measures in place.
  • Oversee the quality of equipment and materials prior to installation, ensuring they meet the necessary standards for performance and safety.
  • Collaborate closely with the Installation Manager to provide updates on project progress and address any potential challenges that may arise.
  • Engage in the installation of pipework while managing the daily activities of Installation Operatives and subcontractors.
  • Assist with logistical tasks, including loading and unloading vehicles, requiring a good level of physical fitness.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a construction environment with a solid understanding of safety regulations.
  • Flexibility in working hours and willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
  • A valid Full UK driving license with minimal points.

Preferred:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Site Supervision.
  • SSSTS certification.
  • IOSH Managing Safety qualification.
  • Forklift license and CSCS gold card are advantageous.
  • Experience in the hire or water-related industry is a plus.
