Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Electrical Supervisor to manage the mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations on a residential new build and a commercial office fit-out project in a major metropolitan area. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional looking to step into a role with progression to Electrical Site Manager. Tier 1 M&E Contractor experience and a strong track record of project longevity are crucial for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the installation of M&E systems, ensuring that all works are carried out in accordance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Manage and supervise both electrical and mechanical trades on-site.
- Ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget, monitoring daily activities and reporting progress.
- Work closely with the project management team, subcontractors, and suppliers to coordinate site activities.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure health and safety standards are met.
Quality Control:
- Ensure that all installations meet the required quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within electrical and mechanical installations.
- Prior experience with a Tier 1 M&E Contractor is essential.
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, residential new builds, and commercial office fit-outs.
- Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 or £250/day rate.
