About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Bridges Electrical Engineers Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for completing electrical installations in accordance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Electrical Safety Rules and Essential Standards
  • Ensure adherence to all Health and Safety legislation and regulations
  • Install electrical items to the highest standards, in compliance with the project's quality plan and inspection and test plans
  • Follow and actively promote the STAR dynamic risk assessment and stop work if unsafe circumstances arise
  • Coach and mentor Electrical Improvers and Apprentices
  • Promote and demonstrate the Bridges' values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients
  • Promote positive health and wellbeing amongst peers
  • Act in a professional manner and be an ambassador for Bridges, supporting the business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation

Requirements

  • ECS gold card (essential)
  • Experience as an approved Electrician
  • Able to manage own and others workload with minimal assistance from Project Managers in delivering safe profitable projects
  • Fitness to work medical
  • Emergency first aid or First Aider
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Qualifications

  • EUSR water hygiene
  • Thames water passport
  • Test and Inspect
  • PASMA / IPAF / Confined space
  • COMPEX
  • Industrial and/or panel wiring experience
