Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Receptionist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. If you possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient experiences, we encourage you to apply.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care, responding to queries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, handling patient records, and maintaining accurate databases.
  • Ensure a smooth flow of operations, coordinating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining a high level of organization.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders, promoting a culture of respect and empathy.
  • Stay up-to-date with practice policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance and maintaining high standards of care.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Strong administrative skills, with experience in managing multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information, and adhere to data protection policies.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, healthcare systems, and practice management software (e.g., SystmOne) is desirable.
  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths is preferred.
