Position: Senior Examinations and Achievement Administrator

Location: Central Bedfordshire College

Compensation/Benefits: Competitive salary starting from £26,000 based on experience and qualifications, 27 days of annual leave in addition to public holidays, participation in the Peoples pension scheme, discounts in retail and leisure, and outstanding opportunities for professional and personal growth, including access to college courses.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Senior Examinations and Achievement Administrator to become part of The Bedford College Group at our Central Bedfordshire College.

In this role, you will be crucial to our students' success by:

  • Upholding the integrity of the examination process
  • Delivering comprehensive examinations administration services for students and staff in designated centers
  • Collaborating with the Senior Examinations & Achievement Administrator/Exams Manager to facilitate all examinations across various regional sites
  • Timely dispatch of results and certificates while accurately recording achievements
  • Performing general office responsibilities

Candidate Profile:

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 GCSEs, including Maths and English at grades A*-C or equivalent
  • A Level 3 qualification or higher
  • Experience handling confidential documents and information
  • Significant administrative experience in an office environment
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to comprehend and adhere to established regulations
  • Exceptional planning and organizational skills to manage your workload effectively
  • Flexibility to work occasional early mornings and evenings
  • Capability to securely transport examination papers and scripts.
  • Access to personal transportation.
