Position Overview:

Key Duties:

  • Family Communication: Engage with parents or guardians as necessary, providing updates on their child's behaviour and progress. Participate in discussions regarding behaviour improvement plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Work in partnership with teachers, pastoral staff, and other support personnel to ensure comprehensive support for all students. Be an integral part of a team dedicated to enhancing student outcomes and nurturing a positive school culture.
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain detailed records of student behaviour, interventions, and progress. Utilize this information to evaluate the effectiveness of behaviour management strategies and inform future actions.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in working with young individuals, particularly in a behaviour support capacity, is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and resilience, with a strong commitment to assisting students in overcoming learning barriers.
  • Understanding of behaviour management techniques and a proactive approach to their application.
  • Ability to function effectively as part of a team, as well as independently when necessary.
  • A sincere interest in promoting the educational and emotional well-being of young individuals.

This position presents a fulfilling opportunity to significantly influence students' lives by aiding them in reaching their full potential.
