About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to join our team at Harding+, a leading innovator in onboard cruise retailing. As an HR Coordinator, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional people support to our teams across the UK, US, and Australia offices, as well as the shipboard teams across Retail Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Manage and administer the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring all employees receive a great experience and an efficient service, including new starter and leaver processes.
  • Payroll and Benefits Administration: Assist with the monthly payroll process and the management of employee benefits and pension schemes.
  • HR Queries and Support: Respond to employees and managers as the first point of contact for general HR queries.
  • HR System Management: Maintain the HR system (Bamboo), providing basic reports and ensuring accurate employee records.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop and maintain people-related policies and procedures.
  • Leave and Absence Management: Handle maternity, paternity, Shared Parental Leave and adoption processes and queries.
  • Probationary Reviews and Contractual Changes: Manage and advise on probationary reviews, changes to contractual terms, and return-to-work reviews.
  • HR Projects and Analysis: Work with heads of departments to capture and analyze holiday and absence data. Contribute to HR and cross-functional projects that grow our people capability, develop the HR function, and add value to our business.
About You
  • HR Experience: Previous HR experience and knowledge of employee relations, UK employment law and HR policy/procedural best practice.
  • Payroll Experience: Experience of running an in-house payroll.
  • Administrative Skills: Proactive and organised with strong administrative skills and a great eye for detail.
  • Qualifications and Experience: Completion of relevant qualifications (CIPD Level 3) and exposure to US/Australia employment law or retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
  • Eligibility to Work in the UK: Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK.
