About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR & Payroll Administrator to join our team at James Gray Associates. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR Manager and Payroll Supervisor, ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll and HR functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records, including employee data and benefits information.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR Manager, including tasks such as recruitment, employee onboarding, and benefits administration.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with employees, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations, including data protection and equal opportunities.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in HR and payroll administration, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with employees and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong generalist HR administration experience, including recruitment, employee relations, and benefits administration.
