Job Description

Job Title: Director of Development Delivery

Job Summary:

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Development Delivery to lead our project management team and drive the development of our construction program. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Construction Program: Develop and implement a comprehensive construction program that ensures standardization, reduces cycle time, and minimizes costs.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring that all projects are aligned with strategic corporate objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to the project management team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and support to deliver projects successfully.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal stakeholders, including Operations, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance, to ensure that their requirements are met and that long-term operational sustainability is preserved.
  • Quality Assurance and Control: Develop and implement a comprehensive QA/QC program that prevents problems from occurring and identifies risks early in the project life cycle.
  • Vendor and Contractor Management: Manage vendor and contractor relationships, ensuring that they meet the required standards and deliver high-quality work.
  • Financial Management: Manage project budgets and establish monthly forecasts, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring that they are informed of project progress and any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  • Experience: 7-10 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the data center industry.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools such as MS Project or P6.
  • Travel: Travel is expected and may increase over time as the business evolves.
