About the Role

Vantage Data Centers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Development Operations to lead our growing project management team and drive the development of our data center projects. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire development process, from entitlement and permitting to construction and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive construction program to ensure standardization and efficiency in project delivery.
  • Define and develop key business engagement processes to enable the leadership team to make informed decisions.
  • Develop a comprehensive QA/QC program to prevent problems and identify risks early in the project life cycle.
  • Lead a team of project managers and engineers to drive project execution and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless integration and coordination.
  • Manage project budgets and establish monthly forecasts, including variances.
  • Hold the project team accountable for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in a management role, preferably in data center development or construction management.
  • Experience in CSA (civil, structural, architectural) and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) construction management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools like MS Project or P6.
  • Ability to travel and work in a fast-paced environment.
