Income Officer Role

We are seeking an experienced Income Officer to join our team at Stonewater, a leading housing provider. As an Income Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers across all tenures to manage their rent and service charge payments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review rent and service charge accounts to identify any issues or discrepancies.
  • Contact customers by telephone or digital platforms to discuss their accounts and provide support and advice.
  • Work with customers to identify underlying issues and develop solutions to resolve their debt issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective communication and resolution of customer queries.
Requirements:
  • Experience of collections in a social housing environment.
  • Good understanding of the benefits system, including Housing Benefit and Universal Credit.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
