Job Title: Income Officer

Ackerman Pierce Ltd is seeking an experienced Income Officer to join our team. As an Income Officer, you will be responsible for providing effective customer-focused support services to users of the Income Control team.

The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of income advice and experience in housing. You will be responsible for the maximum recovery of all service charge income, including the recovery of debts and arrears in accordance with the council's procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor service charge accounts and take necessary action for recovery of debt.
  • Work towards resolving all enquiries relating to service charge accounts, including preparation of repairs listing.
  • Submit cases for judgement and monitor progress accordingly.
  • Manage individual leaseholders' accounts, ensuring they are updated.
  • Provide appropriate advice on the availability of financial assistance for leaseholders in respect of major works debt.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships with colleagues and partnership organisations.
