Sommelier Position - Brockenhurst, Hampshire

Location: THE PIG Hotel, Brockenhurst, Hampshire

OTE: £13.94 per hour, including tronc.

Hours: Full Time

As a vital member of our food and beverage team, our Sommeliers contribute significantly to the service experience in our restaurant and bar. We take pride in offering a diverse selection of wines to our guests, featuring selections from around the globe, local British vineyards, and our exclusive PIG collection.

Our passion for wine is evident, especially with our latest addition, THE PIG in the South Downs, which boasts its own vineyard.

In the role of Sommelier, you will enhance your wine knowledge while actively engaging with guests during our lively restaurant service. You will have the opportunity to recommend wine pairings from our traditional underground cellar, ensuring a remarkable dining experience.

Through on-the-job training, you will expand your understanding of both local and international wine brands and foster relationships with current and prospective suppliers. Additionally, you will have the chance to advance your qualifications in wine and spirits by participating in various educational courses.

Previous experience in a similar capacity is preferred, along with WSET or equivalent certifications.
