About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at Kedleston Unit, a low secure inpatient service for males. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and treatment to patients with severe mental health conditions and a forensic history.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide strong clinical leadership and ensure evidence-based practice is delivered to improve the quality of care.
  • Ensure the monitoring and maintenance of standards of care that support safe high-quality practice throughout the twenty-four hour period in a low secure setting.
  • Create a nurturing learning environment focusing on safe clinical practice and staff wellbeing.
  • Demonstrate robust knowledge of clinical and environmental risk assessment and risk management in a forensic mental health setting.
  • Utilize exceptional skills in relevant clinical documentation, including HCR20's, Ministry of Justice reports and care planning to support staff in meeting agreed standards.
