About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Lead for Adult Mental Health Service, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to our working age adult acute ward.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in adult mental health, with a focus on therapeutic interventions and patient-centered care. You will be expected to work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our patients, and to contribute to the development of our service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to the working age adult acute ward
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
  • Contribute to the development of our service, including service improvement initiatives and research projects
  • Supervise and support junior staff members

Requirements

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • Fully registered with GMC with license
  • Approved clinician status
  • Excellent knowledge of adult mental health and therapeutic interventions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
