Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Long-term contract with potential for permanence

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive Primary School in Birmingham. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the development and success of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to students with SEN in small groups or one-to-one as required
  • Collaborate with the team to implement strategies that promote inclusivity and meet the diverse needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles
  • Encourage active involvement and engagement in the learning process
  • Develop targeted interventions to improve overall wellbeing and aid learning and development

Requirements:

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree, or at least one year's experience working in a Primary School
  • Experience of working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Dedication to assisting children in overcoming obstacles and achieving their full potential
