Facilities Operations Manager

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management services. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering operational excellence in facility management, ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained at the highest level by providing a high-quality and proactive service in the client's facility. Effective communication with clients, peers, building tenants, and management is essential at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and coaching to ensure team members are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Facility Management: Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Client Relationships: Maintain positive client relationships, conduct meetings to resolve facility issues, and ensure effective communication to prevent escalations.
- Financial Management: Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports to ensure financial transparency and accountability.
- Environmental Health and Safety: Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Training and Development: Conduct process and procedure training on maintenance, repairs, and safety best practices to ensure team members are equipped to deliver exceptional service.
- Facility Inspections: Conduct monthly workplace inspections and record findings in logbooks to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Site Inductions and Permit to Work: Coordinate site inductions, permit to work, and authority to work procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Landlord Liaison: Liaise with the landlord to ensure overall service to users in the building is maintained, and any issues are promptly addressed.
- Client Communication: Liaise with site contacts and clients on a regular basis, reporting any issues and concerns in a timely manner to the management team.
- Logbook Management: Be responsible for maintaining the CBRE logbooks, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of facility management activities.
- Communication Skills: Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems effectively.
- Leadership Skills: Leadership skills to motivate team members, impact quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
- Supply Chain Management: Practical experience in working with supply partners to deliver a seamless, integrated service.
- Customer Service: Customer services experience and the ability to communicate at all levels, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Staffing and Development: Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
