Compliance Officer - DG Legal Limited

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team at DG Legal Limited. As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients' compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and maintain comprehensive compliance documents, including Quality Manuals, Business Development Plans, and Financial Crime Prevention Manuals.
  • Develop and publish compliance articles and guidance notes on topics such as AML, Sanctions, Data Protection, and SRA Compliance.
  • Prepare and submit applications to the SRA for new firm authorisation, change of entity, and other submissions.
  • Review SRA-regulated law firm websites for compliance with Transparency Rules and other legislative requirements.
  • Lead internal team training and provide compliance advice over the telephone and via email.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience of compliance in the legal sector.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Proficient IT skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom.
  • Ability to deliver external training on specific compliance topics.
