Job Description:

Solventum is a leading company in the healthcare industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist/IPR Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering innovative solutions to our customers. As an EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist/IPR Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and executing the Trade Compliance program, Inward Processing Relief (IPR) program for KCI Manufacturing Unlimited Company, Ireland and other similar Trade Compliance programs, activities, and responsibilities in EMEA managed by the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute the Trade Compliance program, IPR program, and other similar programs in EMEA.
  • Lead, optimize, manage, and coordinate the IPR program according to current customs law and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, including customs authorities.
  • Manage and optimize customs audits, broker management, export control, customs management, duty management, and AEO certification.
  • Collaborate with EMEA & Global Trade Compliance colleagues to execute the TC strategy and program to minimize risk, enhance service, and optimize costs savings.
  • Drive improvement in compliance and business efficiency performance by defining, maintaining, and communicating key compliance and efficiency performance indicators (KPIs) as well as SOP's, ICP, and training material.
  • Assist EMEA Trade Compliance control tower lead to assess country compliance and capabilities, identify gaps, and propose solutions to address gaps.

Your Skills and Expertise:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience working in Import-Export Compliance, specifically in filing IPR submissions to Irish Tax & Revenue or other EU-countries.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Extensive knowledge of regional trade regulations in various EMEA countries.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with ERP Oracle and SAP GTS is a plus.
