Solventum is a leading company in the healthcare industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist/IPR Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Global Trade Compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regional trade regulations and customs laws in the EMEA region.

About the Role

As an EMEA Trade Compliance Specialist/IPR Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and executing the Trade Compliance program, Inward Processing Relief (IPR) program for KCI Manufacturing Unlimited Company, Ireland, and other similar Trade Compliance programs, activities, and responsibilities in EMEA managed by the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and oversee the Trade Compliance program, including IPR submissions to Irish Tax & Revenue and other EU countries.
  • Lead and optimize the IPR program according to current customs law and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate the IPR program, including common customs audits.
  • Provide local contact and communication with internal and external customers, including customs authorities.
  • Functional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, broker management, export control, customs management, duty management, and AEO certification.
  • Report to the EMEA Trade Compliance Control Tower Lead and collaborate with EMEA & Global Trade Compliance colleagues to execute the TC strategy and program.
  • Drive improvement in compliance and business efficiency performance by defining, maintaining, and communicating key compliance and efficiency performance indicators (KPIs) and SOPs, ICPs, and training material.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience working in Import-Export Compliance, specifically in filing IPR submissions to Irish Tax & Revenue or other EU countries.
  • A Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • In-depth Trade Compliance experience in a private, government, or military environment.
  • Knowledge of regional trade regulations in various EMEA countries.
