About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Events Executive to join our team at Hilton London Bankside. As a key member of our sales and events team, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue and ensuring seamless execution of conferences and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Negotiate and agree on rates with clients to meet sales targets.
  • Ensure all events are executed to the highest standard, meeting client expectations and Hilton brand standards.
  • Proactively work with the sales and events team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales leads.
  • Manage and maintain accurate customer records and contribute to the development and fine-tuning of our sales and events systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel refurbishments, promotions, and new products to effectively promote these to clients.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and sales initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales and events, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure to meet sales targets and deadlines.
  • Proficient in using sales and events software, such as Delphi, to manage customer records and events.
