About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Sales Support Administrator to join our team at a specialist food and wine importer based in Bermondsey, Southwark, London. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in the smooth running of our business, working closely with our Sales Leads who focus on Wholesale clients: Restaurants, Hotels, Delis, and Supermarkets.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports to track our performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in managing customer accounts and queries, ensuring excellent customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.
  • Process sales orders efficiently, coordinating with our warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate customer databases, identifying sales opportunities and product availability issues.
  • Support wine and food tastings and marketing initiatives, promoting our products and services to our target audience.
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover, ensuring continuity of our sales operations.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with experience in sales support or customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask effectively. You should be a dedicated team player, eager to learn and grow, with a passion for Greek cuisine and a commitment to achieving successful results while meeting deadlines.

Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint, is essential, as is a detail-oriented and proactive problem-solving approach. Knowledge of sales principles and practices is advantageous, and experience in the food/wine or hospitality sectors is a plus.
