Murray Recruitment is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to cover a part-time contract opportunity for our client, a leading Support Services company. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for managing your own ledger and working closely with the Accounts Receivable Manager to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively chase payments from customers in a professional and timely manner
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date aged debt reports
  • Record all communication with customers in a clear and concise manner
  • Resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely and efficient way
  • Prioritize and manage your workload to ensure effective time management
  • Communicate with customers via phone and email to discuss payment dates, discrepancies, and late payments
  • Send customer statements and manage the credit checking process

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a financial services environment
  • Proficiency in using financial systems, such as ELO and Navision, would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages
  • Experience in team management and working in a fast-growing company would be desirable
  • Strong organizational skills

Package:

  • Salary up to £23,000 (pro-rata)
