We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time, permanent Finance Assistant to join the finance team at our Link Park, Motherwell site.

As part of the finance team, the main purpose of this position will be to support the business, its internal and external Customers and all other stakeholder in any aspect of the finance function as determined by the Finance Director. A large part of the position entails Customer Account Control.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintain all GBP customer accounts and credit limits - communicating externally and internally where required.
- Maintain all GBP Customer portals, ensuring input on a timely manner.
- GBP Accounts Receivable Banking allocation.
- Maintain GBP Customer credit limits and customer queries.
- Ownership of the Scots Accounts inbox.
- Maintain GBP Visa Spreadsheet.
- Daily sales invoicing/Monthly statements.
- Other finance support and duties as required.

**Other Duties**
- Comply with company policies and procedures.

**Essential Experience and Skills**:

- Previous Finance Assistant experience, including, Credit control, bank allocation and reconciliations.
- Organised, methodical approach to work with excellent time management skills.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and writing communication and able to build relationships.
- Ability to prioritise workload.
- IT literacy with the ability to use Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience of working with SAP B1 or a similar system would be advantageous.
- Solid team player.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- A positive attitude to all aspects of the role.
- Must demonstrate personal values that are aligned with Swagelok Company Values.
- Proactive approach to problem solving.
- Drive efficiencies throughout department where possible.
