**Company overview**:
Linear UK Group Ltd is a family run business which was established in 1993 as Linear Projects Ltd offering fit out services. Over the past 30 years the company has developed into Linear UK Group Ltd which is made up of 10 different companies ranging from main contracting, house building, fire safety, building compliance and recruitment.
**Role**:
This is an extremely fast paced role which requires accuracy. Time management is key to this role as there are several tight deadlines to adhere to. Knowledge of VAT and CIS tax would be an advantage.
The Finance Team consists of 6 team members including this role. The role is based at the company’s Headquarters at Eurocentral, just off the M8 motorway, south of Coatbridge.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Daily / Weekly**
- Add new Contracts/Suppliers/Sub-contractors/Operatives to COINS finance system
- Sub-contractor weekly payment runs
- IR35 checks
- Enter overhead invoices
- Enter petty cash transactions
- Retention release preparation and payout
- Respond to Credit Control & Finance mailboxes
- Credit control duties
**Monthly**
- Credit card analysis and reconciliation
- Reconcile Manchester petty cash
- CIS reconciliations
- Supplier payment runs
- Process overhead re-charge journals
- Month end tasks
**Ongoing daily / ad hoc**
- VAT Checks for Proforma payments
- Assist with Web expenses claims (Holiday cover)
- Other administration duties
- as required
