We are seeking a Lead HR Systems Analyst to oversee a team of dedicated Business Analysts and Functional Consultants. This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of projects and changes, ensuring that business requirements are met with tangible benefits, cost efficiencies, and service enhancements.

The successful candidate will take charge of HR and system-related application initiatives within the Back Office function. A solid background in HR, Payroll, and Time and Attendance, along with a comprehensive understanding of related business processes, is essential. Familiarity with SAP Success Factors is a valuable asset for applicants.

This position also entails leadership and management responsibilities within the broader Business Solutions team, while collaborating with the Business Partner to shape the HR Technology strategy.

Responsibilities

Management & Strategy

  • Collaborate with Business Partners to conduct strategic assessments and implement systems and business functional changes within the Technology Team.
  • Serve as the workstream lead on significant projects or the overall lead on smaller projects and substantial changes.
  • Provide guidance to Business Analyst teams and matrix project teams, including BA's, Infrastructure Analysts, Solution Designers, Service Delivery, and Outsource partners.
  • Mentor, develop, and engage team members to cultivate future leadership capabilities and ensure the timely and effective execution of all people-related activities, including performance development plans, reward reviews, and succession planning.

Business Analysis

  • Direct the collection, comprehension, documentation, and translation of business requirements for changes and complex projects into functional specifications and detailed testing plans. Ensure compliance with relevant operating model procedures, including Service Management, Project Lifecycle Management, and Sarbanes Oxley controls.
  • Lead the analysis in creating business cases for the development and implementation of necessary business changes. Document all work according to required standards, methods, and tools, and recommend or lead improvements to standards as appropriate.

Process Design

  • Offer expertise in Business Process design and documentation, suggesting improvements to business processes and/or systems using both formal and informal techniques. Spearhead the development and implementation of these enhancements or new processes.

Testing & Training

  • Conduct testing, implementation, and training in systems, facilitating system and user acceptance testing.

Business Knowledge & Expertise

  • Drive continuous improvement and capability development for the Business Analyst community, collaborating with other Senior Business Analysts.
  • Assess industry and competitor solutions, integrating insights into personal analysis and solution design.

Collaboration

  • Work in partnership with other business analysts and IT teams to ensure consistency and quality in system and process implementations, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the team and function.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer, development team, and any third party regarding software functionality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to evaluate product roadmaps and ensure the successful implementation and adoption of relevant new features that benefit the organization.
  • Chair business change boards to assess, prioritize, and schedule a backlog of change requests and enhancements for the application portfolio.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Graduate-level education.
  • An IT professional or end user with substantial experience in the HR business domain.
  • Strong analytical abilities paired with knowledge of how IT applications can optimize business advantages.
  • Familiarity with leading HR, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems and related process implementations, along with other applications supporting HR processes.
  • Experience in implementing and rolling out SAP Success Factors, Kronos Work Force Dimensions, and Payroll system integration.
  • Understanding of supplier excellence and vendor management programs.
  • Background in IT Service Delivery and Application support.
  • Proven experience in team management.
  • 5-8 years of Business Analysis experience, encompassing both Waterfall and Agile project environments, with demonstrable knowledge and successful application of various business analysis techniques, methods, and tools.

Desirable:

  • Experience with group-wide HR initiatives and back office functions.
  • Project experience in a Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Recruitment Tools.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance.
  • Understanding of interface technologies and principles.
  • Business Analysis Qualification.
  • Management Qualification.
  • Knowledge of S/4 HANA and Success Factors integration.
