The Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at our Greenwich store. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for ensuring an outstanding service and shopping experience. This will involve acting as a brand ambassador, training and merchandising, and taking a proactive approach to anticipate and prevent any barriers to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that every customer has a positive experience
  • Act as a brand ambassador and promote Embassy London's values and products
  • Train and develop the skills of our sales team to ensure they are equipped to provide excellent customer service
  • Merchandise and maintain the visual appeal of our store to drive sales and customer engagement
  • Take a proactive approach to anticipate and prevent any barriers to delivering a seamless customer experience
  • Work closely with the store manager to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction
  • Ensure that all employees follow company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
  • Initiate and drive marketing efforts to promote Embassy London's products and services
  • Apply knowledge of emerging and consistent trends to inform purchase and inventory decisions
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and internal departments to continuously improve service and drive business growth

Requirements

  • Previous management experience in a retail or hospitality environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent keyboard and written skills with precise grammar and spelling
  • A confident and proactive approach to work with a 'can-do' attitude
  • Excellent eye for detail and good organizational skills
  • The ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Capable of multitasking, especially during busy periods
  • Copes well under pressure
