Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at London Designer Outlet. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for leading the store teams to achieve sales, profit, and customer experience goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Store Teams: Generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and create the best possible customer experience while ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
- Identify Business Opportunities: Collaborate with others to identify opportunities to grow the business and improve performance.
- Visual Merchandising: Maintain corporate visual merchandising directives and standards for sales floor and back room.
- Staff Development: Focus staff on the importance of quality relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring accountability of staff in building a repeat customer base by providing all customers with unparalleled spirited service.
- Store Walkthroughs: Complete daily/weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels, and inventory levels.
- Reporting and Analysis: Analyze store level reports and create action plans to improve results.
- Manpower Planning: Assist with manpower planning, identification, recruitment, interviewing, and hiring processes.
- Communication: Clearly communicate to staff store and individual sales goals and other key performance expectations, sales results, and provide guidance on what is needed to improve performance.
About You:
- Previous Experience: You have a previous track record of supervisory or specialist roles within a premium or luxury brand.
- People Management: You have previous people management experience and act with purpose to resolve conflict and unproductive disagreements.
- Communication: You are an effective communicator with the ability to cultivate belonging.
- Collaboration: You collaborate to win and recognize and celebrate the contributions and achievements of others.
- Courage: You are courageous in giving feedback that promotes positive behavioral change.
- Adaptability: You adapt fast and work with pace.
