Work In Progress Textilhandels GmbH is a family-owned business group that has been a part of the European distribution network for Carhartt workwear since the early 1990s. Our company has developed its own collections based on workwear originals, while maintaining a strong focus on its origins.

**Your Role as Assistant Store Manager**

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the management and daily operation of the store. This includes deputizing in the absence of the Store Manager, understanding and implementing company procedures and directives, and ensuring sales plans are achieved.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist Store Manager in management and daily operation of the store
  • Deputising in the absence of the Store Manager
  • Understand and implement procedures and company directives
  • Ensure sales plans are achieved
  • Support the store team in product knowledge to ensure excellent customer service
  • Meet sales goals by mentoring and providing feedback to sales staff
  • Assist in the recruitment, training and development of staff
  • Maintain outstanding store condition and company's visual merchandising standards

**Requirements:**

  • Able to supervise and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication and 'people' skills
