About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Travel Trade Recruitment. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for representing our company in a professional and knowledgeable way to travel trade partners and commercial companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain current and secure new sales accounts with travel trade partners and commercial companies.
  • Motivate and manage a small team of Reservations and Sales professionals.
  • Maintain regular contact with travel trade partners and commercial companies to promote our airline's products and services.
  • Visit agents to present airline product information and training to front-line staff.
  • Interpret revenue statistics, data, and provide statistical reports to inform business decisions.
  • Identify new sources of revenue from the UK travel trade.
  • Recommend commercial terms and fares structures to win new business.
  • Report and react to market conditions to ensure our airline remains competitive.
  • Prepare regular sales activity reports to inform management and stakeholders.
  • Support the management team in marketing and all sales-related functions.
Requirements
  • Good standard of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Excel.
  • Experience in travel industry account management.
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint systems.
  • Good understanding of Revenue Management and Dashboard workflows.
  • Supervisory experience of Reservations and Sales teams.
