About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Physiotherapist to join our team at the Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust. As a specialist in the neurosurgical management of spasticity, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and treat patients with spasticity and other neurological conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Support the assessment of patients at the weekly intrathecal baclofen pump refill clinic
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to neurorehabilitation
  • Provide education and training to staff and patients on neurorehabilitation techniques
Person Specification
  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Health & Care Professions Council Registration
  • Masters level qualification or equivalent in relevant specialism
  • Evidence of extensive post-registration clinical experience at a senior level
  • Evidence of attendance at relevant post graduate courses and ongoing maintenance of up-to-date professional development
